DUNEDIN HORSE SALEYARDS.

Messrs. Wright, Stephenson and Co. report as follows :— With one or two exceptions the horses, both draught and light harness, were only of medium description, and an the attendance was unusually small the sale was a dull one from start to finish. There was little or no demand for draughts, but this is not surprising, as bnyers will no doubt be holding off for the sale of Melbourne horees, which takes place to-morrow, the 24th inst. A few buyers were present for hacks and harness horses, and it was in this class that most business was done. We quote — For first-class draughts (extra heavy), L 25 to L3O ; good ordinary draughts (young), LlB to L 22 ; medium draughts, Ll2 to Ll6 ; aged draughts, L 6 to LlO ; good hacks and harness horses, Ll2 to Ll6 ; medium hacks and harness horses, L 7 to L 9 ,{light and inferior hacks and harness horses, L 2 10s to L 5.
