The sale of thepe at'racted buyers from far and near, and the one opiniin expressed by equine judges was thit, t*ken as a lot, the borsps offered were the best that have been seen in Dunedin for years. We note a good many inquiries for 6trong harries* horses for grocers' bakers' and butcners order carts, and ror horsts suitable f<>r trams. There is also a demand for medium draught?. First-class draughts (extra heavy), L 25 to L3O ; good ordinary draughts, M 2 to Ll6 ; aged draughts, L 6 to LlO ; good hacks and harness horses, LI2 to Ll6 ; medium hacks and harness horses, L 7 to L'J ; ligat and inferior hacks and harness horse?, L 2 10s to L 5.
