OBITUARY.

We deeply regret to record the death of Rev. Bro. Celestine, which took place on Sunday last at St. Mary's Orphanage, Stoke, neir At the early age of 15, deceased landed in Sydney, and four years later joined the Little Brothers of Mary. He was shortly after transferred to Napier, where, for seven years, his devotedness and zeal in the arduous work of his vocation, and his warm Irish heart, and frank, generous, nature, endeared him to all with whom he cime in contact. Notwithstanding the feeble state of his health, he continued to discharge his duties in class with untiring earnestness until Christmas 1889 ; when he joined the community at Stoke. Here he calmly awaited the call of his Divine Master ; and, fortified with the rites of Holy Church, b.-$ passed peicefully away on the feast of the Patronage of the B eßsed Virgin, in the 28 :h year of his age, and in the 9th year of his religious life.— R.I.
