The English hop crop is not equal to last year's m quality. Choicest qualities are scarce, and are being held for better prices. Brewers are using old stocks. American hops are in good demand. The Continental crops aie damaged.
The British wheat crop has averaged 29 \ bushels per acre. France, Russia, Spain, and Italy have smaller harvests than usual. Germany, Hungary, Turkey, and Belgium have very large yields ; whilst the American crop is much smaller: and the Canadian slightly larger, than was expected. Russia, America, and England have warehoused heavily.
A division of the Servian army has been instructed to proceed to the frontier, and is now marching in that direction.
The latest returns eive the result of thf elections for the French Chamber of Deputies up to the present time as 176 Conservatives and 131 Republicans. M. Herve Magnon and M. Pierre Le Grand have resigned their portfolios in the Bnsson Ministry, consequent on their defeat. The Royalists proclaim an early downfall of the Republic.
