DUNEDIN PRODUCE MARKET, FEBRUARY 26, 1885.
J. H. Kilqoub, Grain and Produce Broker, reports under the above date as follows : — Wheat : There is little doing as buyers are holding back pending arrival of new crop. Oats : The market is quiet, and prices show a reduction since last week of I • to 21 per bushel. I quote milling at 2s 2d to 2a 3d ; bright short feed,' 2s to 2s Id. inferior to medium feed, Is 9d to Is lid. — Barley : There is no new crop yet to hand and I have no sales to report. — -Ohaff : My sales have been at £2 17s 6d and £3 per ton at railway station, bags returnable. — Potatoes : Arrivals this week hare nob been so numerous, but surplus stocks are pot yet worked off. Prices are very irregular. — Batter: The demand in the meantime ia limit 3d, ani buyers are not inclined to give more than 7d per lb., but any lots, really prime might fetch 7£d per lb. — Cheese : 4£d per lb. — Biggs : Is 4d per dozen.

Meenan, King street, reports :— Wholesale prices, including (bags: Oats, 2a to 2s 3d; wheat, milling 3s to 3s 6<i, fowls', Is 6d to 2s 3d ; barley, malting 3s 6d to 4s, milling 2s 6d to 3s 6d i feeding 2s ; oaten hay, £3 5s to £3 10s ; rye-grass, £3 ; chaff, £2 10s to £3 ; straw, £1 15s to £2 ; bran, £3 63 ; pollard, £3 15s ; flour, £8 to £8 ;lOs ; . oatmeal, 13s ; freih butter, medium to 'prime, 6d to 9d * eggß, Is4d; salt butter, 7d; cheese, 4d to 5d ; bacon, 8d in rolls! hams lOd ; potatoes, new, £2 10s. ,
