Otago Land Boahd.— At the meeting of the Board held on Wednesday Commissioners Clarke and Green were appointed to visit and make recommendations concerning the runs and portions of runs reserved for settlement. The application of A. White and J. Davidson to occupy section 11 block 1., Swinburn, was dtclined. Consideration of B. K. Johnstone' application to purchase 30 acres, block VI., Blackstone, was postponed for a week. The application of John M. M'Rae to purchase bection 13, block 11., Chatton, was granted. Government was recommended to make the recreation reserve at Fortrose applied by for several residents tbe;e. A license was ordered to issue to D. Simpson for rural deterred payment section 8, block IU, Kurow, on payment of the valuation for fencing. A lease of deferred-payment section 9, block VI, Bock and Pillar, was granted to A. M'Kay. The sale of stctions 10, 11, 12 and 13", block XXVIL, Arrowtown, to J. T. Burrell was recommended, he having complied with the conditions of the Immigrants 1 Land Act, 1873. It was decided to offer at reduced piicis runs 362 b, 26,030 acres, 10 years, at £150 ; 359. l.">, 000 acres, 10 years, at £50. ' We are extremely happy to state that, as we announced on Tuesday morning, Dr. Kenny has been liberated from Kilmainham and xeturned to his residence at two o'clock on Wednesday.
