It is now fi v* years since the rafepayere of High Ward elected me to a seat in the City Council ; since then, South Ward has paid me a similar compliment, by placing me in the position I now occupy. Except Councilor Barnes, I may mention that I am the oldest member in the Council. I will, in dup time, bold meetings in the various portions of the City.
