His Worship the M ayoi of Dunedin, and several of the leading citizens have waited upon the Hon. Julius Vogel to invite him to a public banquet at an early day. Mr Vogel has accepted the invitation, and the banquet is arranged to take place after His Honor the Superintendent a return from the Waitaki, whither he will go to meet his Excellency the Governor.
