CHRISTMAS MESSAGE.

To the Officers and Men of the New Zealand Police Force. Gentlemen, As the Christmas season again approaches, I would like to express to the members of the Police Force my appreciation of their services during the past year. It has been a year of strenuous work and of new problems brought about by the changing conditions of a world at war, but the members of the Force have accepted added burdens with cheerful willingness. To them all I would like to say, “ Thank you. May the Christmas season be a happy one, and may the New Year bring peace to the world.” P. C. Webb, Minister in Charge of Police Department.
