APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Whangarei.— Davitt Emmett Hassett, absent from Army, has been arrested by the Waihi police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 903.)

Whangarei.-Mac Honiara, absent from Army, has been arrested by the military authorities. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 949.)

Dargaville.—Tepana Onepu Hetaraka and Charlie Tepana, missing, &c., have been locate3*Tiytlie Auckland police. _Tepana Oneou Hetaraka is identical with a youth of the same name referred id in'Tolicc Gazette, 1942, page 954. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 890.)

Auckland.— Bernard McDonald, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Auckland police. He assumed the name John Roy McCallum. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 133.)

Auckland.— Robert Clement Lawson, inquired for, has been interviewed.' by the Mount Eden police. He is identical with Clement Robert Lawson. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 324.)

Auckland.—Victor_,.de^ Valera Seddon Coombes, alias Victor Seddon Coombes, failing to report for 1 " medical examination, has' been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 600.)

Auckland. Charles Penno’s dwelling broken into : Alfred. Thomas Neckelson, referred to in Police Gazette, HO2T page 951, has been arrested by the Auckland police, and he admitted this offence, but none of the stolen property has been recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 602.)

Auckland.— Murphy, default of fine and costs The warrant has been executed by the Mount Eden police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 815.)

Auckland.— Leslie George Webley, default of maintenance, has paid the arrears to the J rankton Junction police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 919.)

Auckland. — Francis Percival . Kerns ley, absent from Army: Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 949.)

Auckland. — Thomas Joseph Grady, inquired for, has paid his Social Security Contributions, and no further action is to be taken. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 291.)

Auckland.— Frederick James Vallis, failing to enrol in Reserve, has been arrested by the Mount Cook (Wellington) police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 757.)

Auckland. — John Tahu Andrews, referred to in Police Gazette, 1942, page 805, and Photographs, 1940, page 53, died at Auckland on the Ist instant.

Auckland. James Hapurona Ruatara, default of maintenance, has paid the arrears to the Kawakawa police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 901.)
