Queen Street Wharf (Auckland).Thomas S. Maben (correct name Thomas Smith Maben), deserting ship, has been arrested by the Queen Street Wharf (Auckland) police. He assumed the name Tom RficAlpine Smith. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 727.)

Auckland. — Emlyn Fisher, referred to in Police Gazette, 1939, page 356, and Photographs, page 49, died at Auckland on the 13th instant.

Auckland.—Andrew Lament, failing to report for medical examination, has been arrested by the Warkworth police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 343.)

Auckland. — Edward Itea, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Otahuhu police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 757.)

Auckland. Geoffrey Frost, failing to report for military service, has been, arrested by the Stratford police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 757.)

Auckland.—Josephine Helen Quinn, missing, has been located by the Wellington police. (See Police- Gazette, 1942, page 761.)

Auckland. —Hugh Johnston, inquired for, has been interviewed by the Takapuna police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 815.)

Auckland. — Hihs Mihaka, absent from Army, has been arrested by the Rotorua police. (See Police, Gazette, 1942, page 819.)

Auckland. — Mlarler, suspected of theft: James Doyle, referred to in Police Gazette, 1942, page 423, has been arrested by the Auckland police, and he admitted this offence, but none of the stolen property has been recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 90.)

Auckland. Richard Sullivan, breach of probation, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 599.)

Palmerston North.-Bernard Daly, refusing to submit to medical treatment: Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 117.)

Palmerston — Terrance Louis Abbott, inquired for, has been interviewed by the Palmerston North police. His correct name is Terrence Lewis Abbott. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 680.)
