Memorandum.] Police Examinations : Notice of Intention to sit for Examination. —Regulation No. 404. (1) A candidate when giving notice of intention to sit for examination in accordance with Regulation No. 404 shall specify the examination for which he intends to —viz., Literary Examination, Law Examination (sergeants), Law Examination (senior-sergeants), or Law Examination (subinspectors), as the case may be. (2) If the candidate has obtained a partial pass and desires to complete the examination, he shall state the year in which he obtained the partial pass and the subjects in which he has passed. (3) If he has already passed any police examination or any examination referred to in Regulation No. 417, he shall specify same and the year in which he passed. Attention is drawn to the fact that candidates must give notice during the month of July of intention to sit for examination notwithstanding that they may have previously intimated their intention of sitting for examination when applying for the services of the coach.
