Between 12th January and sth February last, from the dwelling of DORIS MARTIN, 39 Montague Street, Newton, a gentlemen’s silver square Rolex wristlet watch, ' second-hand missing, Arabic numerals, “ C.M.” scratched on outside case, purchased in Palmerston North, brown leather strap with buckle ; value, £2. Wairoa. — 12th ultimo, from the ladies’ rest-room, the property of BEATRICE ELANOR DELANEY, 369 Jackson Street, Petone, a ladies’ 9 ct. gold engagement ring, set with a cluster of eight diamonds with diamond in centre, platinum on each side of setting ; value, £26. Identifiable.

Wellington.— l9th ultimo, from the General Post-office, the property of BURRELL ALWYN TOVELL SOUNDY, 106 Tinakori Road, a black folding Ensign Selfix camera, f. 4.5 lens, wrapped in chamois leather, in brown leather case with shoulder-strap ; value, £l6 16s. Identifiable.

Blenheim. — Ist April, 1940, and 12th March last, the dwelling of HENRY McKELLAR WHITE RICHARDSON, Burleigh, was broken into and the following stolen : A 12 in. naval-pattern brass telescope, three or four draws, rosewood cover, small shutter over eyepiece, Torgraghi make; a gentlemen’s rolled-gold keyless hunting pocket watch; a gold double-curb watch-chain with bar keeper, snap at each end; and a number of coloured lead pencils; total value, £lO 12s.
