Auckland.— JAMES GUSTAV McCORMICK’S raincoat, &c., stolen: The hat has been recovered by the Auckland police, and Frederick George Semb arrested. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 747.)
Papakura.— WALTEß HENRY SHOVE’S bicycle has been recovered by the Putaruru police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 561.)
Gisborne.— GEOßGE STUCHBERY’S bicycle has been recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 120.)
Timaru.— HAßßY FERGUS CRAWSHAW’S overcoat and scarf have been recovered by the Timaru police, and Earle William Shilton, referred to in Police Gazette, 1940, page 302, charged with the offence. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 840.)
