Auckland. KATE BARKER’S dwelling broken into : Terrence Te Tau, referred to in Police Gazette, 1939, page 592, has been arrested for the offence by the Auckland police, and the cash-box, bank-book, and cheque-book have been recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 736.)
Auckland. JANE MITCHELL’S handbag, &c., stolen Terrence Te Tau has been arrested for the offence by the Auckland police, and the ring has been recovered. The handbag and spectacles were destroyed by the offender. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 736.)
Gisborne.— NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT’S (Post and Telegraph Department) radio has been recovered by the Gisborne police, and the offenders located. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 428.)
—McCORMICKS LTD. radio has been recovered by the Gisborne police, and the offender located. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 445.)
Gisborne. — -MAX GUNN’S shop broken into : All the stolen property has been recovered by the Gisborne police, and the offenders located. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 445.)
Gisborne. ELLlS AND BULL, warehouse broken into: All the stolen property has been recovered by the Gisborne police, and the offenders located. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 445.)
Napier.— EDWIN FISHER’S bicycle has been recovered by the Napier police, and the offender convicted. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 736.)
Petone. THE NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT (Railways Department) copper wire stolen: Portion of the wire has been recovered, and the offenders charged. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 761.)
Dunedin.— -RONALD URWIN ROY’S bicycle has been recovered by the Dunedin police, and the offender charged. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 812.)
