Wanganui. —DONALD MoKAY’S bicycle has been recovered by the Wanganui police. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 849.)
Palmerston North. MONTY OLIVER’S bicycle has been recovered, and the offender located. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 681.)
Petone. —JOHN GRANT AND CO., factory broken into (see Police Gazette, 1938, page 761) : The typewriter has been recovered by the Wellington police from a second-hand dealer to whom it was sold by John McLeod, who is described as follows : Age about twenty-three, medium height, thin build, wearing a light overcoat and felt hat.
Runanga.— ARCHIBALD THOMAS RICHARDS’S bicycle has been recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 408.)
Christchurch.— ERNEST GREEN’S motorcycle has been recovered by the Christchurch police, and Edward Helmsley Dawson, referred to in Police Gazette, 1937, page 458, and John Frederick Eager, arrested for the offence. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 407.) !i
Christchurch. JONES MOTORS, LTD., premises broken into: The motor-cycle has been recovered by the Christchurch police, and Edward HeSmsley Dawson and John Frederick Eager arrested for the offence. They stated that they destroyed the motor registration-plates, No. 23-548. (See Police Gazette, 1938; page 506.)
Christchurch. FRANCIS HAYNES’S motorcycle has been recovered by the Christchurch police, and Edward Helmsley Dawson and John Frederick Eager arrested for the offence. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 644.)
