APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Auckland. — Alfred Richard Buchanan, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount to the Christchurch police. (Sec Police Gazette, 1938, page 461.)

Auckland. Hugh Thompson, default of fine, has been arrested by the Newton police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 461.)

Auckland.— Thomas Knott, default of balance of fine and costs: Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 301.)

Auckland.^ Ruku Pakura, alias Ruku Tangira, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Qpotiki police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 519.)

Auckland. — Edward McKinney,- default of maintenance, has paid the arrears to' the Taranaki Street (Wellington) police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 535.)

Hamilton. — Cyril Nelson Robinson, carnal knowledge, has been interviewed by the Hamilton police, and he admitted the offence. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 479.)

Te Kuiti. — John Joseph Reardon, alias O’Riordan, default of fine and costs, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 536.)

Gisborne. — Ivan Derrick Franklin, default of balance of fine, has paid the amount to the Havelock North police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 441.)

Wanganui.— Roy Arnold Allen, inquired for, has been interviewed by the Whakatane police. His correct name is Roy Arnold Eric Allen, and he is identical with Roy Arnold Allen, referred to in Police Gazette, 1933, pages 603 and 669. (See Police Gazette, 1935, page 2.)

Wanganui. — Pearl Wright, missing, has communicated with her father, and no further action is to be taken. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 464.)

Wellington.— Frederick Bates, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Wharf (Wellington) police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 422.)

Wellington. Thomas Archibald Hayes, default of fine and costs, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 479.)
