UNCLAIMED PROPERTY.

Auckland. lnquiries are to be made for the owners of the undermentioned property which was sold to various dealers in Auckland by Charles Howard, referred to in Police Gazette, 1936, page 748, who has admitted stealing it: A gentlemen’s double-breasted overcoat with greyish-brown stripes, made by Moss Bros, and Co., London, quarter lined with brown silk material; two side pockets, one of which has ticket pocket inside, and one inside pocket, three buttons on each side, four buttons on each cuff, “ J. E. Smallwood ” written on tag inside breast pocket; a gentlemen’s doublebreasted overcoat of blue cloth, quarter lined in black material, three buttons on each side, two slit pockets, ticket pocket inside; a composition suit-case 22 in. by 13 in. by 6 in., with metal handle and two locks; a travelling rug, 6 ft. by 5 ft. of faded greenish herringbone materia], with white, yellow, and deep red stripes on one side, almost plain on other side.

Hamilton. —Inquiries are to be made for the owner of the bicycle described hereunder, which was found in Lake Road on the 26th October last: A gentlemen’s black New Hudson, No. A. 1256 over 1032, Major Taylor handle-bars, large old leather saddle, rubber pedals (one rubber missing from left pedal), bars of frame are bent upwards, nickleplated front rim, State Roadster tire on front wheel, Dunlop tire on rear wheel. It is now in possession of the Frankton Junction police.
