Whangarei. —ANTE ALAC’S ring has been recovered by the Whangarei police, and the offender charged with the offence. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 706.)
Waipukurau.— ALEXANDEß BROWN HASTIE’S overcoat, &c., has been recovered by the Waipukurau police, and Harold Kevin Hawken, alias Ernest Bourke, referred to in Police Gazette, 1936, page 591, and Albert George McLean, convicted of the offence. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 542.)
