Palmerston North. —Dead body of man found in Manawatu River (see Police Gazette, 1935, page 55) : The Taihape police have ascertained that on the Bth December last an unknown man bought from White and Sons, outfitters and drapers, Taihape, a suit, a hat, a pair of braces, a shirt, and a tie. The suit was a bluish-grey Climax, size 5 ; the shirt was of green herringbone pattern, afid they are of the same description as those found on jteceased. Description of man: Age fifty-eight, heighlTsfft. (bln., medium buik,l r slightly swarthy complexion, n Chick Kara turning grey at ears, short/inf## brown moustaohcbTuruiug °grey, short neck, strogg7§liouTders, thin girth, doSrse skin, and had the appearance of a camp cook and a heavy d/inker. When examining the suit it is thought that he put on glasses. Inquiries are to be made at camps and stations to ascertain if any such man is missing.
