UNCLAIMED PROPERTY.
Wellington. lnquiries are to be made for the owner of the following articles which were found in possession of Robert Irvine Owens, referred to in Police Gazette, 1932, page 708, who has been convicted of stealing them : A brown leather tool-kit, a rivetting - hammer, two pairs of pliers, nine set-spanners, five box-spanners, a Shelley shiftingspanner, a tire-lever, a cold-chisel, a file-handle, two steel rods, and a screwdriver. The following articles were traced to the possession of Leslie Cecil McCarthy, referred to in Police Gazette, 1930, page 719, who has been convicted of receiving them knowing them to have been stolen, but the ownership has not been established : An Ajax ratchet motorcar jack, a large shifting-spanner, a steel spanner (branded “ Ford ”), a double-end steel spanner, a small hub-eansmnner, and a steel tire-lever. yr/j /7/6 /£ £
