Auckland. November last, Henry Maitland Mclntosh, age twenty-three, height 5 ft. 10 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, strong build, fair complexion, light-brown hair turning grey, blue eyes. Inquiry by his mother, ulia Martha Mclntosh, 2 Victoria Street, who desires him to contribute to her support.

Rotorua. —Since the 25th ultimo, Kiri te Awakotuku, age forty-six, height 5 ft. 9 in., labourer, Maori, medium build, “ Cairo ”on right forearm, tattoo-marks on left arm ; speaks good English; has a carved walking-stick with him. Inquiry by his father, Hone AtatahK Te Ngae, who /ears for his safety. • Rahotu. Since the 14th ultimo, Frederick Hoskin, age sixty, height 5 ft. 6 in., farmer, native of New Zealand, thin build, dark complexion, dark hair turning grey, dark moustache ; dressed in dark trousers, grey shirt, grey felt hat, and black hob-nailed boots. He was on parole from Porirua Mental Hospital, and fears are entertained for his safety. Inquiry by his wife, Agnes Hoskin, Saunders Road, Okato.

Wellington. —Since the 3rd instant, Ronald Maxwell Stewart, age twenty, height 5 ft. 4 in., clerk, strong build, ruddy complexion, wavy black hair, hazel eyes ; dressed in grey sports trousers, open cream silk shirt, brown coat, and tan shoes (no hat). He is supposed to have been at Otaki on the 4th, and near Wanganui on the 6th instant, and is said to have stated at Otaki that he intended walking to Auckland. Inquiry by his father, Robert Charles Stewart, 30 Hohiria Road. Hataitai, who is anxious/regarding his safety. 3
