DESERTER FROM HIS MAJESTY’S SERVICE.
Devonport. — lan Stewart Cruikshank, absent from H.M.S. “ Philomel,” was arrested, but broke away from a naval escort and jumped from the train in Parnell Tunnel oh the 7th ultimo, and a warrant for deserting from the ship has now been issued. (See Police Gazette, 1929, p|jge 695.)
