INQUIRIES, ETC., FROM OUTSIDE NEW ZEALAND.
Papeete. —During the night of the 14th April last the following property of Mr. Rougier w-as stolen : A blue launch, 32 ft. long, with “ Manu ” on prow, and a plate with “Made by the Red Wing Motor Co. for Zane Grey ”on it; a grey 3-ton lighter with “ Roy Somers ”on it; a compass ; and a quantity of trousers, shirts, tobacco, and provisions. Suspicion is attached to three Tahitian labourers named Tefana, Negara, and Maketa, ages about twenty-four.
