Napier. 2lst instant, from the licensed service of Frank Hildreth, farmer, Mangawhare Station(l) Edward Tomai, age seventeen, height 5 ft. 4 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, medium build, copper complexion, black hair, brown eyes, scar on back of each hand ;' a half-caste Maori (see Police Gazette, 1927, page 531): and (2) James' Lawson, age seventeen, height 5 ft. 7 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, medium build, copper complexion, black hair, brown eyes; a three-quarter-caste Maori (see Police Gazette, 1927, page 854). They are also suspected of having unlawfully used their employer’s motor - car, it having disappeared simultaneously with them, and three days later was found in a damaged condition abandoned near Gisborne. They may be accompanied by Mavisw Marshall, referred' to hi following paragraph. /3<J> K "
