Auckland.- Between the 7th and 9th ultimo the shop of LAURIE ■ JAMES BURNIP, 616 Dominion Road, was broken into and the following stolen therefrom : Twenty-four Brunswick gramophone records; one His Master’s Voice gramophone-motor; one tone-arm and reproducer ; one reproducer ; and twelve tins loud-tone needles : total value, ■£2s 15s. Not identifiable.
Auckland. Between the 9th and 11th June last, from a shed at Mount Roskill, the property of MICHAEL O’CONNOR, 49 Vermont Street, Ponsonbv, £7O in money. Not identifiable.
Auckland. —On the Bth ultimo the dwelling of GRANT COWEN, Lower Vincent Street, was broken into, and two cakes of soap and a two-cell electric torch with red imitationleather. covering stolen therefrom; value, 10s. Torch identifiable. Suspicion is attached to Man (name unknown), age about twenty-seven, height about 5 ft. 7 in., medium build, fresh complexion, thin face ; dressed in a blue suit, fawn felt hat, and tan shoes.
Auckland. —lsth or 16th ultimo, from 14 City Road, the property of PAUL KOKICH, a gentlemen’s 18 ct. gold marquise ring with about twenty-one diamonds in platinum setting ; a tobacco-pouch; and a £1 note : total value, £sl ss. Identifiable except money.
Auckland. —l2th ultimo, from the dwelling of FANNY BEATRICE MONTGOMERY, 29 Vincent Street, two three-quarter-bed size eiderdown quilts, bands of vieux rose satin round edges, roses on black background in centre of one, roses on grey background in centre of the other ; total value, £ll. Identifiable.
Auckland.— 2oth June last, from the University, the property of AUDREY CHATHAM PERRY, 48 Market Road, a ladies’ brown mindle fur coat with stripe of darker shade, blue and brown art-silk lining, may have “ Green and Co., Karangahape Road,” on tag ; value, £22 10s. Identifiable.
Auckland. —On the 27th June last the dwelling of GEORGE JOHN ROWE, Rangitoto Avenue, Epsom, was broken into, and £l4 in money and a gentlemen's nickel Farmers’ Union watch stolen therefrom; total value,, £l4 7s. 6d. Not identifiable.
Thames. 2nd May last, from a military camp at Paeroa the property of RONALD CHARLES BARNETT, Bank of New Zealand, an open-face gold-plated wristlet watch, luminous dial, minute and second hands missing, unicorn scratched inside back case, leather strap with gold buckle attached ; value, £4. Identifiable.
Hamilton. loth May last, from Victoria Street, the property of ROBERT ROBERTS, 1 St. Olphert’s Avenue, a. gentlemen’s black-enamelled free-webel B.S.A. bicycle, straight handles, no grips, large saddle, Michelin tires, Bosch electric lamp attached ; value, £lO. Identifiable.
Hamilton. 2lst April last, from the rear of the Strand Theatre, the property of ALBERT ROY DAVIES, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled free-wheel Saltley bicycle, upturned handles, black grips, Michelin and Dominion tires ; value, £B. Identifiable.
Hamilton. —On or about the 2nd June last, from Victoria Street, the property of STAN BLACKMORE, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled free-wheel Royal Saxon bicycle, straight handles, red Britannia tires ; value, £5. Identifiable.
Hamilton. —16th May last, from a yard in London Street, the property of HORTON LUSBY WORM, 7 Wye Street, Frankton Junction, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled free-wheel B.S.A. bicycle, No. 199585, upturned handles, red rubber grips, Michelin tires, left front fork brazed; value, £4. I dentifi able
Stratford. —On the 23rd ultimo the dwelling of OLIVE L. SIMMONS, Huinga, was broken into and £65 10s. in money (including twelve £5 notes) and stamps, value Is., stolen therefrom. Not identifiable. Suspicion is attached to Man (name unknown), age about forty-five, height about 5 ft. 6 in., slight build, dark complexion and hair, dark sunken eyes ; shabbily dressed in a dark suit; was riding a bicycle with red rubber grips.
Masterton. 23rd May last, from the shop of HUGO AND SHEARER, Queen Street, a brown marmot-fur coat, 40 in. in length, roll collar, blue art-silk floral lining, gathered pocket inside ; value, £4O. Identification doubtful.
Lower Huttt. — Between the 18th and 1 9th May last, from a garage at 23 Waterloo Road, the property of MAURICE OLIVER CROSS, a gentlemen’s -enamelled free-wheel bicycle, No. 723, reversible handles, Dunlop Railroad tire on back wheel, Michelin tire on front wheel, Riemann electriclighting set attached ; value, £5. Identifiable.
Petone. 4th May last, from the Railway Workshops, the property of DAVID. SUTHERLAND, 23 Sydney Street, a gentlemen’s purple-enamelled fixed-wheel Cambria racingbicycle, reversible handles, Hewgill transfer, wooden rims, no brakes ; valise, £6. Identifiable.
Wellington. l6th June last, from a dressing-shed at Newtown Park, the property of JAMES MELLOR, 170 Taranaki Street, a gentlemen’s oval-shape gold-filled wristlet watch, No. 4235-323, gold inlaid dial, luminous figures, deep scratch on back case, “ Romar ” on dial, broad suede-leather strap attached ; value, £3. Identifiable.

Timaru. —2oth or 21st ultimo, from the motor-car of BASIL LESLIE PEARCE, Fairlie, a leather suit-case, about 24 in. in length, reinforced leather corners, “ B.L.P. ” in black letters on front; a gentlemen’s brown suit; a suit of silk pyjamas with red and black spots ; a blue shirt with two collars to match, all marked “ Brighton, England ” ; a pair of light-brown flannel trousers ; a light-grey sieveless pull-over ; a pair of gentlemen’s brown shoes, size 9 ; a red-and-blue striped woollen scarf ; a pair of brown kid gloves ; a light-grey cap made by Dunn and Co., England ; a pocket Kodak camera in a brown leather case with “ 8.L.P.” thereon ; and several pairs of socks, ties, &c. : total value, £3O. J. Hayles in favour of Jas. Owen ; (2) for £3 10s., signed Jas. Smith, in favour of M. Robertson ; (3) for £2 10s., signed Jas. Smith in favour of M. Robertson ; and (4) for £2 65., signed Morrison Bros, in favour of McGruer, Taylor, and Co. : two cheques on the Bank of New Zealand, Balclutha branch(l) for £37 65., signed H.
