APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Auckland.— Yick Leong, unlawfully remaining in New Zealand, has been arrested by the Patea Police. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 450.)

Auckland. — ChOO Yun, unlawfully remaining in New Zealand: Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 465.)

Auckland. Buckey, alias Herbert Leslie Buckley, alias Thompson, escaping from prison, has been arrested by the Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 397.)

Auckland.— Myra McKernan, alias Marion Alice Vincent, alias Shaw, breach of probation, has reported to the Probation Officer. No further action to be taken. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 506.)

Auckland. — Charles Pennell, default of maintenance, has paid the amount to the Matamata police. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 465.)

Auckland. — George Fuller-Quinn, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Gore police. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 506.)

Auckland. — Robert Henderson Ritchie, breach of probation, has reported to the Probation Officer : No further action to be taken. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 505.)

Auckland. George Edward Dyer, alias George Edwards, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 308.)

Papakura. — James Reid Turnbull, missing, has been found dead. (See Police Gazette, 1927, page 501.)

Taumarunui.— ROSS AND HARTNETT and TAUMARUNUI HARDWARE CO.’S premises broken into : The suspect, John Buckley, alias Herbert Leslie Buckley, alias Thompson, has been arrested by the Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 508.)

New Plymouth. — George Lindsay James, alias Ernest Lindsay James, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount to the Hawera police. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 486.)

Waitara. — Frank Fowler, theft, has been arrested by the Westport police, and admits the offence. He had assumed the name Frank Rodgers. (See Police Gazette, 1927, page 298, and following paragraphs.)

Wellington.— JOHN IRVING’S watch, &c„ stolen : The suspect, Francis Fowler, has been arrested by the Westport police. (See Police Gazette, 1927, pages- 64 and 374, and preceding and following paragraphs.)

Wellington. Francis Fowler, alias Frank Fowler, theft, has been arrested by the Westport police, and admits the offence. (See Police Gazette, 1927, page 555, and preceding and following paragraphs.)

Timaru.- — Frank Rodgers, theft, has been arrested by the Westport police, and the stolen motor-car recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 507, and preceding paragraphs.)

New Plymouth. — A. Isbester, false pretences, has been arrested by the Wairoa Police. His correct name is Arthur Gifford St. Clair Isbester. (See Police Gazette, 1927, page 684, and following paragraphs.)

Feilding. — G. Isbisfer,’ false pretences, has been arrested by the Wairoa Police. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 358, and preceding and following paragraphs.)

Wellington.— Arthur Gifford St. Clair Isbester, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Wairoa police. (See Police Gazette, 1927, page 872, and preceding paragraphs.)

Foxton. — ownership of the bicycle found at Himatangi has been established. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 235.)

Petone. — Morris Roche, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Greytown police. His correct name is Maurice Roche. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 522.)
