MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION.

Circular No. 9/28.] Sonsiables entering Licensed Premises. In every case where a constable, in the execution of his duty or in uniform, has occasion to enter licensed premises conducted under a publican’s license, accommodation license, or conditional license a written report of the entry shall be made by him as soon as possible after the time of the occurrence. If the constable is performing duty under a sergeant at the time of the occurrence he shall also at the first available opportunity verbally report the matter to his sergeant. In cases where constables are performing duty at outstations, and are not under the immediate control of a sergeant, an entry is to be made in the station diary giving briefly the reason for visiting such licensed premises in the execution of duty or in uniform, and the result of the visit. Circular No 13/98 is hereby revoked. W. B. Mcllveney, Commissioner of Police. Wellington, 20th April, 1928. (P. 28/602.)
