INQUIRIES, ETC., FROM OUTSIDE NEW ZEALAND.
Adelaide (South Australia).— A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Maxwell SVSaek&y, charging him that on or about the 3rd March, 1928, at Renmark, being a servant of the Army and Navy Stores, Limited, he did receive on account of his master, from Mrs. Fleck, £lO, which he embezzled. Description : Age about thirty-six, height about 5 ft. 7 in., slight build, dark sallow complexion, dark eyes, clean-shaved, pigeon-chested, lump on back ; usually dressed in a dark-grey suit, brown shoes, and soft grey felt hat; stooped and deformed; drags right leg slightly and walks with a stick. He may be accompanied by Mrs. Miller, age forty, height 5 ft. 6 in., slight build, dark complexion and hair, brown eyes, aquiline nose, dark hair on face ; dresses neatly ; Scotch accent.
