INQUIRIES, ETC., FROM OUTSIDE NEW ZEALAND.

Sydney (New South Wales). —Ist August last, on warrant issued at Sydney for failing to maintain his wife, Lillian Knight, Henry Knight, age thirty-seven, height 5 ft. 10 in., builder, contractor, carpenter, and mechanic, strong build, brown hair, grey eyes, clean-shaved, dark rings under eyes, scars on back of neck ; well dressed ; speaks with a drawl. Ho may be accompanied by a girl named McNamara, ago twenty-two, height about 5 ft. 7 in., thin build, dark complexion and hair, dark eyes ; stylishly dressed. He was in Wellington about August last. Each field-glass has “Carl Zeiss” over Jena on it. If any information concerning the stolen articles is obtained a communication is to be sent to the Commissioner of Police, Wellington. (P. 24/1433.)
