Auckland. lnquiries are to be made for the owner of the watch and chain described below, which were found in possession of Frederick William Gardiner, alias Hill, referred to in Police Gazette, 1923, page 640, and Photographs, 1924, page 2, who has been convicted of stealing them from some person or persons unknown: A gentlemen’s silver open-face Rector lever watch, No. 1260836, fifteen jewels, gold hourhand ; and a 9 ot. gold fetter-and-oval watch-chain.
