APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Hikurangi.— Bert Johnson, wilful damage, &c., has been served with a summons by the Te Awamutu police. (See Police Gazette, 1922, page 551.)

Auckland. — Sydney Alfred Bennett, alias Lockwood, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1923, page 296, and following paragraph.)

Wellington. Sydney Lockwood, alias Matheson, theft, has been arrested by the Auckland police. He had assumed the name Black. (See Police Gazette, 1922, page 606, and 1923, page 164, and preceding paragraph.)

Auckland.— Leonard Richard Cunningham, alias Reginald Smith, alias Jack Smith, false pretences, has been arrested by the Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1923, page 267.)

Auckland. — Henry Bassett, failing to maintain : Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1922, page 443.)

Auckland. Mamie Hollis, failing to maintain : Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1922, page 523.)

Auckland. — Alice Le Fever, missing, has returned home. (See Police Gazette, 1923, page 261.)

Auckland.—Maunsell William Henry Hardinge, breach of probation: No further action to be taken. (See Police Gazette, 1923, page 257.)

Raurimu. — Hargreaves, alias Nolan, alias Edward Styles, escaping from prison, has been arrested by the Eketahuna police. (See Police Gazette, 1923, page 176.)

Wanganui. — William John Lee, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Palmerston North police. (See Police Gazette, 1923, page 131.)

Marton. — Reginald Borland, false pretences, has been arrested by the Te Awamutu police. He had assumed the name Arthur Grant. (See Police Gazette, 1923, page 84, and following paragraph.)

Christchurch.— Arthur Reginald Borland, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Te Awamutu police. (See Police Gazette, 1923, page 108, and preceding paragraph.)

Eketahuna. — Horace Edward Bush, forgery and uttering, has been arrested by the Woodville police. (See Police Gazette, 1923, page 202.)

Wellington. Edmund Marriott, failing to pay train fare, has been served with a summons by the Mount Cook police. (See Police Gazette, 1923, page 284.)

Wellington. — Patrick Williams, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Paliiatua police. (See Police Gazette, 1923, page 268.)

Wellington. Moflitt, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Kaiapoi police. (See Police Gazette, 1923, page 258.)

Lyttelton.— William Loney Taylor, deserting from Navy, has been arrested by the Dunedin police. His correct name is William Sydney Taylor. (See Police Gazette, 1922, page 140.)
