Te Ktjiti.—-16th instant, on warrant for theft of a blueserge suit, “ Jaffe ” on tag of coat, and a returned soldier’s badge, No. 25/484, value £l3 135., the property of Terrence George Baker, Rora Street, identifiable, Smith (name probably fictitious), age about twenty, height about 5 ft. 10 in., dark complexion, dark hair brushed back, tattooing on arms ; dressed in green riding-breeches, faded blue-serge coat and vest.

New Plymouth. —lßth instant, on warrant for theft of a gentlemen’s black-enamelled free-wheel bicycle (recovered), value £7 10s., the property of Herbert David Mullen, J. Thomas, alias Watson (names probably fictitious), age twenty-six, height about 5 ft. 8 in., strong build, ruddy complexion, clean-shaved ; dressed in a grey dirty suit, softfelt hat, and tan boots; erect gait. Accused presented a valueless cheque for £lB 10s. for payment of board to Thomas Alexander Heath, licensee of the Provincial Hotel. There are charges pending.
