SPECIAL NOTICE.

♦ Greymouth.— 3.10 a.m. on the 14th ultimo two plugs of gelignite, with detonator and 5 ft. of time fuse affixed, were thrown on the roof of a dwelling in Arney Street, occupied by James Kerr Simpson, Senior Sergeant of Police. The fuse had been ignited and burned to within lin. of the detonator. On the 29th May last the above dwelling was wilfully damaged by explosives, and a reward of £2OO was offered for the arrest of the person or persons proved to have caused the damage. (See Police Gazette, 1919, page 461.) Special efforts are to be made to arrest the offenders.
