PROPERTY RECOVERED.
Newton.— JOHN HENRY GRIFFITHS’S bicycle has been recovered by the Auckland police. It was abandoned at Martha Ann Lindsay’s second-hand shop by a Man (name unknown). (See Police Gazette , 1920, page 125.)
Auckland.— CEClLlA KEARSLEY’S war bonds, &c., stolen: Portion of the stolen money has been recovered by the Parnell police, and Cecil Alexander Banks, Alfred Joseph Nottingham, and Robert Alderton charged with the offence. (See Police Gazette, 1920, page 173.)
Wanganui.— GßEGOß McGREGOR’S horse, saddle, and bridle have been recovered by the Palmerston North police : not stolen. (See Police Gazette , 1920, page 141.)
Eketahuna.— FßANClS COLLINSON TURNOR’S sheep are now believed to have died. (See Police Gazette, 1920, page 142.)
WeIIington. MATHEWSON LIMITED premises broken into: Five furs and a silk sport’s coat have been recovered by the Wellington police, and Dennis Quilligan arrested for the offence. (See Police Gazette, 1920, page 125.)
