Warkworth. Henry Williams, failing to parade for medical examination: It has been ascertained by the Queen Street Wharf (Auckland) police that accused left this Dominion for London on the 2nd November, 1916, as a member of the crew of the s.s. “lonic.” (See Police Gazette , 1918, page 64.)

Wanganui.—l2th July last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, John Anderson, age twenty-nine, height 5 ft. 7 in., busbman.

Shannon. —l3th ultimo, on military warrant for failing to proceed to camp, James McCloy, age thirty-two, height 5 ft. 11 in., flax hand, native of Scotland, medium build, dark hair and complexion ; usually dressed in a dark suit and skull cap.

Shannon.—6th ultimo, on military warrant for failing to proceed to camp, William Shields, age twentyeight, height 5 ft. 10 in., flax hand, native of Ireland, medium build, fresh complexion, brown hair.

Wellington.—23rd October last, on military warrant for failing to proceed to camp, James McGuire, alias Robert John Walsh, age thirty-fi\e, height sft. 4in., electric lineman, native of Ireland, strong build, fair hair, complexion, and moustache twisted at ends, blue eyes, full red face. On Ist instant was wearing a fawn coloured suit and dark soft-felt hat. He is said to have worked at Lake Coleridge.

Wellington.—23rd January last, on warrant for being absent from camp without leave, Brnest John Mathews, age thirty-six, height 5 ft. 7| in., fireman and farm labourer, native of England, medium build, sandy complexion, lightbrown hair going bald, blue eyes, broken nose, large ears, scar on left middle finger, ship inside right forearm, left forefinger injured. (See Police Gazette , 1917, page 612, and 1918, page 43.)

Wellington.—2sth October last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Michael Walsh, age twenty-six, height 5 ft. 7 in., shearer.

Christchurch. warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Patrick McKenna, age thirty-three, height sft. in., native of Australia, medium build, dark hair and complexion, clean-shaved; usually dressed in a dark-grey suit and soft-felt hat.

Christchurch.—4th May last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Arthur Taylor, age twenty-six, height 5 ft. 9 in., slight build, pale complexion, dark hair, large dark eyes.

Christchurch.—l6th January last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Arthur Donald Goulding Boulton, age twenty-seven, height 5 ft. 5 in., native of England.

Dunedin.—sth ultimo, on military warrant for failing to proceed to camp, Patrick Tarpey, age thirtythree, height sft 10 in., labourer, Dative of Ireland, medium build, reddish hair, moustache, and complexion ; usually dressed in a blue suit and brown Dr. Jim hat; erect gait; good appearanoe.

Invercargill.—2nd ultimo, on military warrant for failing to proceed to camp, Timothy O’Connor, age forty-five, height 5 ft. 10 in., labourer and flax hand, native of Ireland, medium build, fresh complexion, dark hair, blue eyes ; find of drink.
