APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Whangaroa.— Moana Hill, alias Reihana, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Kawhia police. (Bee Police Gazette, 1917, page 641.)

Dargaville.— John Roache, alias Clifford, default of fines and costs, has been arrested by the Maungaturoto police. He had assumed ihe name Buckley. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 599.)

Auckland.— Charles McGeahan, assault, has been arrested by the Mount Co. k police. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 595.)

Auckland.— Leon John Woods, deserting from Expeditionary Force, has been arrested by the Newton police. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 587.)

Waihi. John Fraser Patterson, deserting from Expeditionary Force, has been arrested by the Karangahake police. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 643.)

Hamilton.— George Rashleigh, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Gisborne police. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 841, and following paragraph.)

Napier.— George Rashleigh, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Gisborne police. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 412, and preceding paragraph.)

Rotorua. Frederick Henry Francis, deserting from Expeditionary Force, has been arrested by the Whataupoko police. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 655.)

Ohakune. — Leslie Jones, default of fine and oosts, has been arrested by the Hawera police. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 787.)

Hunterville.— James Saunders, deserting from Expeditionary Force ,has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 655.)

Featherston. Charles Edward Joseph Stone, deserting from Expeditionary Force : No further action to be taken. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 516.)

Te Nui.— Andrew Watson Ramsay, deserting from Expeditionary Force, has been arrested by the Palmerston North police. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 464.)

Upper Hutt.— William Cotter, deserting from Expeditionary Force, has been arrested by the Eastbourne police. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 671.)

Wellington. — Robert Rccles, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 669.)

Mount Cook. — Harry Alexander Donghi, escaping from military detention, has been arrested by the Lower Hutt police. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 656.)

Greymouth.— Man (name unknown), murder and robbery : Frederick William Eggers, alias William Eggers MacMahon, has been arrested for this offence by the Christchurch police, and all the stolen money, excepting £l2B 11s. 7d., recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 653.)

Christchurch. Eric Spurgeon, alias Charles Eric Spurgeon, default of fine and costs and deserting from Expeditionary Force, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1917, pages 178 and 626.)

Lincoln. — William Hoft, absconding from Burnham, has been located: No further action is to be taken. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 322.)

Roxburgh. — Thomas Ackley, deserting from Expeditionary Force: Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 312.)
