ABSCONDER FROM AN INDUSTRIAL SCHOOL.
Lincoln. —lsth April last, from Burnham Industrial School, Bertie Alfred Rising, age nineteen, height 5 ft, 6 in., farm labourer, native of New Zealand, slight build, sallow complexion, brown hair, blue eyes, long nose, prominent ears, round shoulders; dressed in a greenish sac suit, green-striped cap, and black lace-up boots; delicate appearance. Underclothing should be numbered “ 161.” (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 179.)
