APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Queen Street Wharf (Auckland). —William Diamond, ship-desertion, has been arrested by the Auckland police. He had assumed the name W". Payne. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 787.)

Newton. — Robert John Robertson, false pretences, has been arrested by the Lyttelton police. (See Police Gazette, 1913, page 2.)

Auckland. — Alexander Murdock McAuley, default of maintenance: Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1913, page 379.)

Auckland.— Richard Norman Henry Williams, alias Owen, breach of his probationary license, has been interviewed by the Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1915, pages 271 and 288.)

Auckland. — Michael Minogue, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Morrinsville police. He had assumed the name Jack Jones. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 191.)

Auckland. — Charles John Marks, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 536.)

Hamilton.— George Henry Groves, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Rotorua police. (See Police Gazette, 1912, page 630, and 1913, page 570.)

Raetihi. —Harry Yickery, default of fine and costs, has been arrested by the Upper Hutt police. He had assumed the name of Harry Williams. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 288.)

Johnsonville.— Thomas R. Burkett, alias Champion, escaping from Porirua Mental Hospital, has been arrested by the Dunedin police. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 802.)

Upper Hutt. — William James McGrath, deserting from the Expeditionary Force, has been arrested by the Blenheim police. He had assumed the name W. A. Brown. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 692.)

Upper Hutt. — David Hendry, deserting from the Expeditionary Force: It has been ascertained by the St. John’s police that he left with the 6th Reinforcements. No further action is to be taken by the police. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 330.)

Wellington. — Walter Sutherland, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Dunedin police. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 788.)

Wellington. — Eva Zola, default of fine and costs, has been arrested by the Mount Look police. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 596.)

Wellington.— F. Martin, ship - desertion, has been arrested by the Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 802.)

Wellington. —William Carl Frederick Anderson, default of maintenance, has been located by the Palmerston North police. He is a member of the Reinforcements, and has signed an order for 2s. lid. per day to be deducted from his pay and paid to the Clerk of the Court, Wellington. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 178.)

Wellington. --William Charles Hill, failing to provide for unborn illegitimate child, has been arrested by the Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 844.)

Wellington. William Cooper, assault and shipdesertion : The warrant for ship-desertion has been cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 706.)

Motueka.— Henry Joseph Allport, missing, has been arrested on a charge of theft by the Dunedin police. He had assumed the name Harry Williamson. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 775.)

Greymouth. — Cyril Turk, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Putaruru police. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 27.)

Christchurch. — William L. Ory, false pretences, has been arrested by the Dunedin police. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 724.)

Christchurch. —Samuel Erron Blood, alias Samuel Herron, failing to maintain: Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 774.)

Christchurch. — James Alexander Moir, default of fine and costs, has been arrested by the Sydenham police. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 844.)

Waimate. — John Francis Fogarty, breach of Defence Act, has been served with a notice of fine by the Waimate police. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 388.)

Dunedin.— Robert Powell, default of maintenance, ha s been arrested by the Upper Hutt police. He had assumed the name Robert Plimm. (See Police Gazette, 1915, page 179.)

Dunedin.— Arvo Alexander Storm, ship-desertion Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette , 1914, page 762.)
