Auckland. —On or about the 2nd ultimo, from the changeroom at the Railway-engine Sheds, the property of JOSEPH HILL, engine-driver, a gentleman’s erey Hydrotite overcoat, almost new, “George Mcßride,” maker, on tab, stain on left sleeve near wrist; value, £3. Identifiable.

Auckland. —15th ultimo, from outside SMITH AND COUGHEY’S shop in Queen Street, the property of the firm, a gentleman’s brown-tweed double-breasted overcoat, yellowish lining ; value, £2 9s. 6d. Identifiable.

Te Awamutu. —9th ultimo, from the Saleyards, the property of J. H. LUXFORD, solicitor, a nearly new lightbrown saddle, a yellow web girth, and a thick felt numnah ; total value, £5 10s. Identifiable.

Napier.— l6th ultimo, from outside the Working-men’s Club, the property of LEONARD CHARLES KNOCK, ironmonger, a gentleman’s B.S.A. bicycle, No. 969, freewheel, rat-trap pedals, upturned handles, black grips; parcel-carrier over back wneel, acetylene-lamp and pump attached ; value, £7 10s. Ormondville. —Between 2 p.m. on the 7th and 10 a.m. on the 9th uldmo, from the dwelling of EDWARD ANDERSON LAWRING, old-age pensioner, four £5 and two £1 Bank of New Zealand notes and two sovereigns.

Palmerston North. —J. C. HEWLETT’S dwelling robbed : Joseph Charles Talke, alias George Watson, has been charged with this offence by the Palmerston North police. Wellington. —27th ultimo, from a bedroom at the Masonic Hotel, the property of CATHERINE O’BRIEN, housemaid, a lady’s silver hunting keyless watch, chased case, “K. O’B.” scratched outside ; a long gold granny-chain, coarse oval links ; a gold band ring, set with three red stones, one missing ; and about £4 15s. in oash : total value, £ll 10s. Watch and ring only identifiable. Also an 18 ct. gold ring, set with eleven diamonds in crossover setting; a lady’s gold open-face keyless watch, No. 5154, set in a celluloid and leather wristlet; and a gold necklet, with gold cross with heart in centre attached: total value, £36. Wellington. —On or about the 13th April last, when on transit between Oamaru and Wellington, from a trunk, the property of MRS. HARRIET BURRY, Hull Street, Oamaru, a gold pendant, shaped like a watch-spring, set with pearls, a small gold cable pattern chain attached ; a gold oldfashioned pendant, mourning figures at back, black edge, glass on front, lock of hair inside; a gold cable bangle, with sealed padlock ; a gold pendant, set with seven drops, each drop consists of a large and small amethyst; a large-old-fashioned oval cameo brooch ; a gold bar brooch, bar rimmed with black enamel, hollow at back; a gold anchor brooch, set with pearls; a fancy gold brooch, set with three turquoises surrounded by pearls ; a gold bar brooch, amethyst in centre ; and a gold bar brooch, set wiih a diamond surrounded by pearls : total value, £29. Westport.— 29th April last, from a shed on Merchandise Wharf, the property of CHARLES JOHN GEAR, wharf labourer, a gentleman’s Harker’s Brown Regal bicycle, No. 345/5, free wheel, straight handle bars, new tires ; value, £5. Identifiable. Suspicion attached to George Lowther. age sixteen, height 5 ft. 2 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, strong build, good appearance; dressed in dark-grey knickerbocker suit.

Lyttelton.— l7th ultimo, from a cabin on the s.s. “ Maori,” the property of HENRY COHEN, treasurer of the Maud Allen Company, a gentleman’s plain silver or white-metal dress watch, very thin, small dial, and a pleated leather fob chain with an oxidized silver “ Teddy Bear ” pendant attached; total value, £3. Identifiable.

Christchurch. —2oth April last, from an underground lavatory at the corner of Manchester and High Streets, the property of WILLIAM PALMER, 438 Armagh Street, a gentleman’s Bell bicycle, No. SlO6, free wheel, upturned handles ; value, £5. Identifiable.

Christchurch.—-sth ultimo, from the premises of ALBERT EDWARD SHARMAN, Fitzgerald Street, St. Albans, a purebred imported Airdale terrier dog, answers to name of “ Crack ” ; value, £3O. Identifiable.
