APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Auckland. — Gerald Joseph Holt, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Papakura police. (See Police (Gazette, 1914, page 319.)

Auckland.— James Valentine Rawlinson, failing to maintain, has paid the amount due to the Whangamomona police. (See Police Gazette , 1914, page 289.)

Auckland.— William Godfrey Nolan, theft, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette , 1914, page 289.)

Waihi. — Alexander Brown, default of fine and costs, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1914, page 184.

Napier.— John Francis Wooster, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Ongaonga police. (See Police Gazette , 1914, page 304.)

New Plymouth. — George Livingston Brett, missing friend, has been served with a copy of a maintenance order for the support of his children by the Wanganui police. (See Police Gazette, 1913, page 708.)

Wanganui. — William Godfrey Nolan, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1914, page 290.)

Petone. — Rupert Roy Painton, default of fine and costs, has been arrested by the Petone police. (See Police Gazette, 1914, page 200.)

Wellington. — H. King, forgery and uttering, has been arrested by the Wellington police. His correct name is Henry John Cameron, and he is identical with offender of the same name referred to in Police Gazette, 1911, page 327. (See Police Gazette, 1914, page 304.)

Wellington.— Harold William Hardie, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount due to the Rotorua police. (See Police Gazette, 1914, page 276.)

Lyttelton. — G. Cook, ship-desertion: Warrant can celled. (See Police Gazette, 1914, page 305.)

Annat. — Harold Jones, alias Joines, false pretences, has surrendered himself to the Queenstown police. He had assumed the name Henry Milton. (See Police Gazette, 1911, pages 254 and 342.)

Cromwell. — George Lawrence, failing to maintain, has been located by the Cromwell police, and has promised to support his family. (See Police Gazette, 1914, page 305.)
