APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Auckland. — William Scott, default of fine, has been arrested by Constable M. Gourley, Queen Street Wharf police, and amount paid. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 77.)

Auckland. — William Sedgwick Kent was found at Masterton by Acting-Detective Abbott, Wellington police, and handed over to Mr. Earl, at Wellington. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 100.)

Auckland. — Harry Crook, theft, has been arrested by Sergeant Crean and Constable Beddek, Thames police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 163.)

Auckland.— William Spittlehouse, default of fine, has been arrested by Detective Cassells and Acting-Detective Mason, Wellington police, and amount paid. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 147.)

Waihi.— Richard Brooking, default of maintenance: Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1910, pages 449 and 484.)

Wanganui.— Albert Treves, or Trebes, failing to provide for the maintenance of his children, has been located by Constable Maher, Taumarunui police, on information supplied by Constable A. McLeod, and has promised to pay the arrears due. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 164.)

Palmerston North.— John Henry Heath, theft and absconding from industrial school, has been arrested by Constable Magee, Parnell police. (See Police Gazette, 1911, pages 110, 129, and 148..)

Levin. — David McKeown, absconding from the Train-ing-farm, Weraroa, has been arrested by Acting-Detectives Osborn and Snow on a charge of consorting with thieves and prostitutes. His return to the school is not desired. (See Police Gazette, 1907, page 4.)

Eketaiiuna.— William May has returned to his home (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 133 )

Masterton.— John McConvill, breach of the Licensing Act, is at present serving a sentence of one month in Lyttelton Prison for obscene language. When arrested he was going under the name of Joseph O’Connell. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 164.)

Wellington.— Walter Joseph Chisnall, default of maintenance, has been arrested by Detectives Ward and Gibson, Christchurch police. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 146.)

Christchurch.— John Henry Heath, theft and absconding from industrial school, has been arrested by Constable Magee, Parnell police. (See Police Gazette, 1911, pages 110, 129, and 148.)

Lincoln. — William Alfred Jones, absconder from industrial school, has been arrested by Constable F. Hammond, and returned to Burnham. He was going under the name of John Dudley. (See Police Gazette, 1910, pages 169 and 443.)

Lincoln. John Henry Heath, absconder from industrial school and theft, has been arrested by Constable Magee, Parnell police. (See Police Gazette, 1911, pages 110, 129, and 148.)

Rangiora. — William David Mackintosh has returned to his home. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 151.)

Dunedin. — Florence McKay, disobeying maintenance order: Warrant executed, and arrears paid to Detective Connolly, Gisborne police, on information supplied by Constable Hall, Dunedin police. (See Police Gazette, 1911, page 120.)
