Warkvvo'rth. HENRY WALKER’S property stolen No further inquiry necessary. (See Police Gazette, 1910 page 334.)
Thames. —GEORGE SCOTT’S watch has been returned through the post; the chain is still missing. Suspicion attached lo a Hawker (name unknown), age about twenty - two, height about 5 ft. 1 in. or 2 in., supposed native of New Zealand, clean-shaved except small fair moustache, pug nose, medium build, generally hawks razors, cheap watches, &e. ; carries a straw hamper and Gladstone bag. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 347.)
Hastings. —WlLLlAM PLUMMER’S bicycle has been recovered by Detective W. J. Butler, and traced to the possession of Wmiam Marsten, who has left the Dominion. (See Police Gdzette, 1910, page 27.)
Wellington.— ALFßED MITCHELL’S watch and chain have been Ifiund: not stolen. (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 347.)
Waimate. —THOMAS HAYNES’S'bicycle has been found (See Police Gazette, 1910, page 355.)
Temuka. —DAVlD TOOBY’S bicycle has been found, and handed over to the owner. (See Police Gazette, 1909, page 22.)
Waitati.— GOVERNMENT RAILWAY-STATION, Waitati, brok> n into ; The following postal notes have been found hidden in the bush in Jubilee Park, No. 582768/82 for 55., No. 499754/71 for 10s., Nos. 150140/43 and 171922/26 f>r 155., No. 247510/14 for £l, and No. 227041/2 for £l.
