New South Wales. —Inquiry requested for Charles Arthur Winnacott, age twenty-five, height 5 ft. 11 in., thin build, dark hair and complexion, grey eyes, has a scar on top of head about 2in. long and Jin. wide, not much hair on face, may go under the name of Bluey Winnacott, slightly addicted to drink. He left his home in Kyneton, Victoria, about six years ago for Christchurch, and was last heard of at Temuka about four years ago, but no trace can be obtained of him there. Inquiry by his brother, Thomas E. Winnacott, constable, Police-station, Condobolin, New South Wales. (10/883.) South Australia. A warrant has been issued at Adelaide for Arthur John Davies Linford, for disobeying an order of the Uourt, inade on the 12th February, 1908, to pay £1 10s. a week fer the maintenance of Sarah Ann Linford and her childreiyf Description : Age forty-three, height about 5 ft. 5 in., insurance agent, dark complexion and hair, dark moustache only, brown eyes, rather large nose. England.— lnquiry requested for William Crowder, age about thirty, height about 5 ft/6 in., labourer, native of Birmingham, thick-set build, broad shoulders, full face, clean-shaved, fair hair, blue eyes, tattoo-marks on backs of hands and on arms. In November last he visited his cousin, Henry Crowhen, at Christchurch, but has not been heard of since. Inquiry by his wife, No. 2 Colville Place, Birmingham, England. If traced, information to be forwarded to the Inspector of Police, Christchurch.
