INQUEST.
Wanganui. —On the 23rd ultimo the dead body of a Man was found in the river. Description : Age about sixty, height about 5 ft. 7 in., medium build; short grey beard, whiskers, and moustache, head bald, heavy coat of lightbrown hair on chest and body ; dressed in black sac worsted coat, grey-tweed trousers, grey-cotton shirt, white-flannel undershirt, white-woollen underpants, heavy watertight boots, pieces of white calico used for socks. The jury brought in a verdict of “Found drowned.”
