Rewards
Detective John McLeod, No. 931, and Acting-Detective C. Lilley, No. 989, Dunedin police, have been awarded £2 10s. each for services in connection with the conviction of Kong Wah for having opium in his possession. (08/41.) Constables J. Maher, No. 857, and J. Fitzgerald, No. 741, Taumarunui police, have been awarded £1 each for services in obtaining the conviction of Edward Walsh for supplying liquor to a Maori. (08/1337.) Sergeant W. Mathieson, No. 477, has been awarded £4, and Sergeant J. Black, No. 577, and Constable J. Holmes, No. 995, and District-Constable Irwin, £1 each, for services in connection with convictions obtained under the Licensing Acts. (08/1350.)
