—“•oopMercer. —Since 20th ultimo, Albert Edward Walker, age seventeen, height 5 ft. 6lg/br Trim, (farm hand, native of New Zealand, dark-brown hai complexion, rather slovenly appearance, third finger of right hand off at second joint; dressed in dark slop-njade tweed suit, dark-brown soft-felt hat with black cord around band, and coarse whitecotton tennis-shirt with pink-and-white tie, and had with him a gun and camera. Inquiry by his parents.

Napier.— lnquiry requested for Money George Hickling and Maud Harriet Brock Logan Hickling. Their father formerly lived in Dunedin, and about twentythree years ago was licensee of the Army and Navy Hotel, Auckland, and the Bay View Hotel, Hobart; about twentyone years ago he kept a hotel in Cooktown, Queensland. Shortly before his death there he took the children away. Their mother, Mrs. Goodison, of Napier, is anxious to trace them, that she may leave them some money. A Mrs. Davy, to whom Hickling was married after separating Jrom Mrs. Goodison at Auckland, is now supposed to be in Melbourne, and knew something regarding the disposal of the children.
