INQUEST.

Auckland.—On the 15th ultimo the body of a Man was found floating in the harbour, and had apparently been in the water for about a fortnight, the features being almost unrecognisable, the teeth were very black and large, one upper front tooth missing, American coat of arms tattooed on inside of right forearm, dark hair ; the clothing consisted of a dark sac coat, a pair of slop-made tweed trousers with grey stripe running through them, a soft white regetta-shirt with collar attached, silk stripes running through it. The jury returned an open verdict.
