Auckland. — William Eyles, disobeying maintenance order, has been arrested by Sergeant P. Crean and Constable R. McGaffin, Newton polic^fon information supplied by Constable J. Morris. (See Police Gazette, 1907, page 443.)

Auckland. James Edmund Mullins, disobeying maintenance order, has been attested by Constable Pearnley, Gisborne police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1907, page 321.)

Auckland. — Joseph Cassidyy deserter from H.M.S. “ Torch,” has been arrested by (Jonstable Carmody, Whangaroa police, and discharged, As the naval authorities would not claim him owing to of time since his desertion. (See Police Gazette, 189«, page 148.) Auckland.— George Wheatcroft, breach of prohibition order, has been arrested at Auckland by Constable Macpherson on a charge of drunkenness. (See Police Gazette, 1907, page 495.) /

Ponsonby. — Carrie Powefr, assisting to manage a brothel, has been arrested by (constables Nash and O’Hara, Auckland police, and lodged/in gaol. (See Police Gazette, 1907, page 257.) Palmerston North.— Charles Cairney, theft, has been arrested by Detective D. Corumlly, Wellington police, on information supplied by ActihaCDetective Ward, Christchurch police. (See Police Gazetted 1907, page 117.) Offender is identical with Charles McQueen Cairney. (See Police Gazette, 1906, page 279.)

Christchurch. — John Beaton, default of maintenance, has been arrested by Constable McKeefry, Addington police, and remanded. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 269.)

Rahotu. — Edward Barrett has been found by the Inglewood police. {Bee Police Gazette, 1907, page 498.) ' Martinborough. Edward Robert Towersey Dunn has returned to his ifome. (See Police Gazette, 1908, page 7.)

Wellington. — Edward J. Murdock, disobeying order of Court: Offender has returned to the Dominion and paid amount due. Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1895, pages 63 and 73.) Wellington.— Henry Lorjgan, default of maintenance, has been arrested by Constable Nash, Upper Hutt police, and lodged in Wellington Prison. (See Police Gazette, 1907, page 475.) Wellington. — Emma Hogsfn, default of maintenance, has been arrested by Consiaflie J. Htffernan, Wellington police, and remanded. (See Ifolice Gazette, 1907, page 496.)

Wellington.— Kathleen Beatrice Hudson, default of maintenance, has been l(jfc/ted by constables H. C. D. Wade and J. H. Sweeney, Talfiape police, and part of money paid.
