Northcote.— JOHN WILSON’S bicycles have been found in the bush. They had been taken to pieces and some of the parts removed. (See Police Gazette, 1904, page 268.)
Pahiatua. JAMES GRIFFITHS has recovered his bioycle : not stolen. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 334.)
Wellington.— SUSAN HILL’S dwelling broken into. The gold-mounted greenstone brooch with N.Z. and fern-leaf on it has been recovered by Detective W. Hill and ActingDetective J. McLeod, Dunedin police, and traced to the possession of George Augustus Vincent and William Preston, sentenced to five years and three years respectively, for similar offences at Dunedin. The gold-bar brooch with amethyst has been found in possession of Joseph Piaggi, alias Miller, arrested by Detective J. J. Cassells and ActingDetective T. Kemp, Wellington police, for similar offences at Dunedin, on information supplied by Detective W. Hill and AotiDg-Detective J. McLeod, Dunedin police. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 245.)
Wellington.— BEßNAßD MEYER’S dwelling broken into. The silver Geneva hunting-watch No. 18225, and the gentlemen’s heavy gold ring with anchor on it has been recovered by Detective W. Hill and Acting-Detective J. McLeod, Dunedin polioe, and traced to the possession of George Augustus Vincent and William Preston. The gentlemen’s gold chain with long double links has been found in possession of Joseph Piaggi, alias Miller, arrested by Detective J. J. Cassells and Acting-Detective T. Kemp, Wellington police, on information supplied by Detective W. Hill and Acting-Detective J. McLeod, Dunedin police. (See Police Gazette , 1905, paga 255.)
Wellington.— EßNEST JORY’S dwelling broken into. The gentlemen’s heavy gold ring set with j heart-shaped garnet has been found by Dotective W. Hill and ActingDetective J. McLeod, Dunedin police, and traced to the possession of George Augustus Vincent and William Preston. The gold double chain with small oval links has been found in possession of Joseph Piaggi alias Miller, arrested by Detective J. J. Cassels and Actiug-Deteotive T. Kemp, Wellington police, on information supplied by Detective W. Hill, and Acting Detective J. McLeod. (See preceding paragraphs and Police Gazette, 1905, page 262.)
Wellington.— WlLLlAM SALT’S dwelling broken into. The two watches, the three gold nibs, the book, and a number of the coins have been recovered, and William Hughes arrested for the offence by Detective G. R. Broberg and Acting-Detective T. Quirke, Wellington polioe. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 270.)
Christchurch. —ALFRED PARSONS’S bicycle has been found : not stolen. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 334.)
Christchurch. — ALBERT BREER’S bicycle has been recovered by Constable R. Ward, Christchurch polioe, and traced to the possession of George Gibson, - who has been sentenced to three months for the offence. (See Police Gazette, 1904, page 358.)
Christchurch. ARTHUR BONIS has recovered hia bicycle : not stolen. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 178.)
Kaitangata.— JOHN M. SMITH’S coat has been recovered, and Harry Duncan arrested for the offenoe by the Lumsden police. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 344.)
Invercargill.— GEOßGE LUMSDEN’S property has been recovered, and Hamilton Ross Gibson arrested for the offenoe by the Invercargill police and remanded for sentence. (See Police Gazette, 1905, page 334.)
